Karen Bolan is a local quilter in Santa Rosa, California. She comes to quilting from a science and engineering background. Her designs reflect traditional piecing done with an out-of-the-box approach that includes her love of geometry, experimentation, interconnection, depth, and texture.

Karen’s work has received many accolades and has been shown at PIQF, QuiltCon, international shows and local art venues including Petaluma Arts Center, Santa Rosa Public Art and the De Young Open.
